VAMA gallery at Los Angeles City College features the work of emerging and established LA artists in thematically curated shows. Artist talks, panel discussions, and related events provide context and opportunity for dialogue. The Pierce College Art Gallery was established in 1968 to serve the students and faculty of the college and provide a culturally rich resource for the surrounding community. Provocative and diverse exhibitions primarily explore contemporary artistic concerns, which educate, challenge and inspire viewers. Gallery programming includes artists’ talks to contextualize exhibitions and further enhance course curriculum.

Located on the second floor of the COX building the gallery is committed to creating diverse programing that includes painting, sculpture, photography, video, digital media and installation to enhance our vibrant arts community.
